Which hospitals we include, how we name pages and how we handle branches
This policy explains why dubai-hospitals.org/ includes some hospital/location pages, how branch pages are handled, and how we avoid duplicate or misleading hospital pages.
What qualifies for a hospital page
A page may be created when users clearly search for a real hospital, medical center or major healthcare facility by name, branch, locality, appointment, address, contact, doctor or department intent. We prefer pages that solve a real user task, not pages created only for broad generic keywords.
| Keyword type | Usually eligible? | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Hospital name + Dubai/locality | Yes | Clear location intent and useful for address/contact/appointment. |
| Hospital name + appointment/contact/address | Yes | Clear action intent. |
| Same hospital + different branch | Yes | Different locations need separate address and contact information. |
| Generic “hospital near me” | Usually no | Too broad unless it supports a high-value local directory page. |
| Medical disease/treatment query | No | Outside our directory-only scope. |
| Jobs, courses, share price, hotels or hospitality | No | Not hospital location/access intent. |
Branch and duplicate handling
- If the same hospital has different Dubai branches, each branch may deserve a separate page.
- If two keywords have the same hospital and same user intent, we merge them into one stronger page.
- If a hospital has a former name and current name, we clarify the current official naming where verified.
- If a keyword is ambiguous, we avoid guessing and use cautious wording.
What a good hospital listing should include
Official name, branch, area, address and map/directions context.
Main phone, appointment route, official website and emergency note where verified.
Sources, last-reviewed note, correction route and no medical advice disclaimer.
Hospital removal or update requests
We may update, merge or remove a listing when a facility closes, changes name, moves, is duplicated, cannot be verified, or no longer fits our directory scope. Hospital representatives can request updates by emailing official source evidence.
